Perhaps you were aware that Mr. Joe Smith, our most senior English teacher at the high school, writes occasionally for the
Sun Gazette. Some may also be aware that much of Mr. Smith’s passion for teaching is fed by his passion for reading and writing. And maybe some were aware that Mr. Smith's interest in Alfred Hitchcock is what fueled his interest and pursuit to publish a novel. We are very proud to recognize Mr. Smith as a learned educator, but also an educator who practices the art he teaches.
