Congratulations to Kaitlyn Pellegrino, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Pellegrino, for being recognized by Loyalsock's Social Studies department as the April Student of the Month!Kaitlyn enjoys English and social studies and has been consistently on the honor and high honor roll throughout high school. She is president of Key Club, a member of Christian club, Relay for Life, and Spanish club. In addition, she is quite active and has lettered in varsity girls' tennis. Kaitlyn is also involved in the Girl Scouts and quite active in dance, including ballet, pointe, modern, and modern jazz. She is also a lifeguard in the summer. Kaitlyn plans on attending Elizabethtown College and major in English and secondary education. She will be playing on the women's tennis team there. While in high school, Kaitlyn ha splayed varsity tennis all four years and was a District 4 champion as a sophomore, junior and senior. She was also the District 4 doubles champion in her junior and senior year. She reached the PIAA state quarterfinals for the team in her sophomore and senior years.
