Days after the horrific flooding several weeks ago that has produced the most rain Pennsylvania as seen in over 100 years, several student groups from LTHS spent their evenings and weekends helping various communities in the Montoursville Area School District with cleaning up. Approximately 9.5 inches of rain fell, crippling much of the area. One organization that reaches out to the community to perform various volunteer projects was our newly established Interact Club, under the advisorship of Miss Ashley Argenta. The students in Interact were also able to accumulate hours of volunteer service through our new initiative, the
Silver Cord Program. Kudos to all of the students who helped our neighbors to the east in getting through an extremely trying time.
