The holiday season was especially appealing this year for us at Loyalsock as we learned just before the break that the grant that was written for a greenhouse project in the high school was approved and an award of $30,000 was granted by The First Community Foundation. here. We are so excited by this amazing news! Special thanks go to Mrs. Sarah Puderbach, LTHS Science Department Curriculum Coordinator and Mrs. Sherry Griggs, Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction, for co-authoring this grant. Thanks to their efforts, plans for a good-sized greenhouse are under way with construction to occur sometime in the spring to early summer.
