Paige Robinson participated in the Pennsylvania Music Educators’ Associations’ District 8 Orchestra Festival on January 13th – 16th at Milton Area High School. Paige earned a spot in the Orchestra through competitive auditions held in November at Williamsport High School. The Saturday afternoon concert was directed by Dr. David Ramael, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Orchestral Activities at Hofstra University. The concert included Carmen Suite No. 2 by Georges Bizet and Concert Suite from The Red Poppy Ballet by Reinhold Gliere. Paige plays violin and is the private student of Mr. David Lassiter. She has participated in District Orchestra in the past and is also a member of the Williamsport Youth Symphony. While attending the festival, Paige went through another competitive audition and earned a spot on first violin for Regional Orchestra to be held February 24th – 27th at Reading High School.
