For a second year in a row, Mrs. Melissa Mattie, LTHS business teacher, provided a great experience for students in her Introduction to Business Class. Business owners and executives representing businesses in our community were able to tell a little about each of the businesses with which they work and how they began. Afterwards, they judged students work on the sample start-up business plans that they designed and showcased. Students did a fantastic job, and Mrs. Mattie provided a wonderful experience to speak with real-world instances and application.
