Although a relatively small school district, Loyalsock has purposefully chosen to include a strong focus on the arts and music. Such a position is evident when observing and taking part in one of our district's all-district choral or instrumental concerts held annually. Last year, and this year once again, the choral concert was held at Williamsport's Community Arts Center, a phenomenal venue to see any sort of performance. Over 300 students, grades 4-12, participated, showcasing some extraordinary talent through the various choruses and select choirs at the high school level. The outcome of this concert is a tribute and testament to our music faculty K-12 and their never-ending support of students' experiences in the arts. Interestingly, the finale has recently incorporated the help of other district personnel in showcasing our youth's talent. Congrats to all students who participated and special congrats to our music staff on yet another successful performance! On another note, our All-District Instrumental Concert will take place on Tuesday, March 6, 7:00 p.m. also being held at the CAC.
