Since the beginning of the new year and the end of our first semester, we have had numerous great things to share about our school community. As is typical with any high school, things get really busy! To begin with, we want to recognize Mrs. Linda LaCoe, a veteran math educator and our math curriculum coordinator. She is highly involved in our school, has phenomenal technology skills, has great relationships with students, and spends countless hours helping others. What's most important is that she is an exceptional teacher, and that is why she was nominated by a fellow colleague, Ms. Carol Johnson, for an Apple Award, sponsored by the National State teacher of the Year-Pennsylvania Chapter! The same organization that Mrs. Kindra Brelsford recently had experienced at the PA State Teacher of the Year Conference, Mrs. LaCoe's impact on Loyalsock students and staff does not go unnoticed. The NSTOY organization recognizes such achievements across the state, and Mrs. LaCoe certainly fits the bill. Congratulations to Mrs. LaCoe!
