On January 11-14, senior Hayley Steiger attended PMEA District 8 Band at Bloomsburg University. The festival brought together students from approximately 40 different school districts. They were selected to participate through competitive auditions held at Williamsport High School in November. Guest conductor for the festival was Dr. M. Gregory Martin, Associate Director of Bands and Assistant Professor of Music Education at West Chester University. While at the festival, Hayley had another audition. At this audition, she placed first which earned her the right to attend PMEA Regional Band at Montrose on February 23-25. Congratulations Hayley on representing Loyalsock Twp. High School so well!
